Indoor LED Lighting

In the retail sector, the first three seconds determine a customer's decision; therefore, an in-store LED lighting strategy is the backbone of a successful sales pitch. The right light keeps the product on display from the moment they step inside; it displays colors realistically, facilitates in-store navigation, and extends the shopping time. LED technology's efficiency of up to 110-120 lm/W provides the same brightness as traditional halogen spotlights at half the power, reducing electricity bills, while its L80 lifespan of over 50,000 hours eliminates the hassle of changing bulbs.

Layered Lighting Design

Successful in-store LED lighting consists of four layers:

General Lighting – 60° wide-angle linears integrated into the ceiling track produce homogeneous light at 400-450 lux; a microprismatic diffuser prevents glare with a UGR < 19 value. Accent Lighting – 24° narrow-angle track spotlights dramatically highlight the outfit on the mannequin and the "new season" shelf; The CRI ≥ 95 chipset flawlessly showcases fabric textures.
Decorative Layer – Rustic filament pendant lights add a cozy warmth to the cafe corner; RGB-W strips highlight the brand color during campaign periods.
Functional Areas – 3000K strips inside the cabinet and 4000K spotlights above the cash register make the fitting and payment flow comfortable. Energy and Control

Radar sensor track spotlights reach full brightness when a customer approaches; after shelf replenishment, they change scenes in the mobile application, refreshing the light balance of the area in seconds. Zhaga Book 18-socket DALI-2 drivers reduce annual consumption by up to 40% by dynamically dimming with daylight and intensity data. PF ≥ 0.95 and THD ≤ 10% parameters protect store POS systems from harmonic distortion.

Mechanical Durability

The IP44 protected spotlight housing and IK08 tempered glass maintain performance even during dusty discount periods. The injection-molded aluminum heatsink keeps the LED chip temperature below 55°C; color shift is delayed, and product colors remain consistent until the end of the season. Thanks to the “push-fit” adapter, the luminaires can be moved to a new display layout without running cables along the rail; this prevents hours of power outages during re-merching operations.

Sustainability

90% of the housing material is made from recycled aluminum; halogen-free cable and lead-free solder add points to green building certifications. EN 62471 photobiological test Group 0 classification certifies that the light does not pose a risk to eye health.

This holistic approach is realized in Ossam Lighting's R&D-supported product range. Post-installation digital twin monitoring monitors LED temperature and energy consumption in real-time, sending proactive alerts to the maintenance team; thus, Ossam Lighting's In-Store LED Lighting solutions offer a captivating, long-lasting, and energy-efficient shopping experience from your brand's window to the cash register.
